Emera Planned to Build the Second Cable to Improve Power Output to the United States

        Canadian energy company Emera has announced to build a second submarine cable project Atlantic Link to connect to the New England region so as to provide more clean power to New England.
        Chris Huskilson, president of Emera, said in an interview on Monday, Atlantic Link submarine power cable project plan would be submitted to the relevant departments for approval early next year.
        According to reports, this submarine power cable would connect New Brunswick and Boston in New England, approaching Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador and other regions, with a total length of 560 kilometers, which was mainly for New England conveying rich hydropower and wind power and other renewable energy sources.
